The Tractor Shed began its life as exactly that, a simple structure for farm equipment, tucked behind the former home of Grandpa Jones.
The studio features a tracking room, three booths and a control room. The main room is open and bright and designed to be configured to the needs of each session using baffles. The piano room houses the studio’s collection of keyboards, including a baby grand piano, vintage Wurlitzer, Rhodes and Hammond organ.
The third room was designed with drums in mind but serves as a larger booth for any instrument.
The Tractor Shed Studio is the fourth studio built in Mark’s 30 years of studio ownership and design. Engineer Sean Sullivan was also involved in the studio design, consulting and helping bring the studio to its present configuration.
In 2022 the control room was re configured so Sean could add his extensive collection of microphones and outboard gear to the studio. His gear includes a plate reverb, vintage spring reverbs, along with a large assortment of new and old compressors and preamps.
Together Mark and Sean have everything needed for any size session. From solo projects to full commercial productions, the Tractor Shed is ready for your next session.
